Biography

Carl was born in 1909.^[1] He was the son of Ollis Yager and Henrietta Baringer.

He married Mildred Robbins Weinedel.^{[citation needed]}

He passed away in 2002 and is buried in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky.^[2]

Carl Baringer Yager, age 92, died at his home Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Weinedel Yager; two sons, Robert Hughes Yager and wife Nora of Mesa, Ariz., and John Richard Yager and wife Janice of Minden; four grandchildren, Erin and husband Jeffrey Deconcini and Casey Yager, all of Tucson, Ariz., and Kyle Yager and Kiira Yager, both of Mesa. He was a native of Louisville, Ky., and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. He retired after 29 years with Exxon Refinery. Funeral service will be held Monday, Aug. 19, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at Broadmoor United Methodist Church, with Dr. Robert Burgess and Dr. Donald Hall officiating. Visitation at the church from 9:30 a.m. Monday until service time. Burial in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, at 1 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Broadmoor United Methodist Church, 10230 Mollylea Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70815, Hospice of Baton Rouge, 9063 Siegen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70810 or Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge, 550 Lobdell Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
