Mildred "Milly" Yeager was born on November 10, 1798,[1] in Madison, Virginia. She was the daughter of Benjamin Yager and Anna Chrisler.
Mildred married Proctor Ballard Rowe (1783-1828) on December 16, 1819, in Madison, Virginia.[2] They had 4 children.

Her husband Proctor Ballard passed away on September 15, 1828, at the age of 45. They had been married 8 years.
Mildred married a 2nd time to John Duncan, son of Moses and Cynthia Withers on February 5, 1835, in Jefferson Co., Kentucky.[3]
They made their home in Jefferson County, Kentucky in 1850, where John was farming, with his daughter Eliza-17 in the home. [4]
Her husband John passed away on June 17, 1851, in Kentucky at the age of 54. They had been married 16 years.
Widowed she was living in Oldham County, Kentucky in 1860, with her son Benjamin Rowe age 39, a Combard Pres R. lliving with her along with a merchant, H R Hayes.[5]
Mildred died 13 Jan 1874, at the age of 75, in Kentucky, and was buried in Crestwood, Oldham Co., Kentucky in the Floydsburg Cemetery.[1]
