Biography

Edmond Yarborough, M.D. of Doncaster, co. York. (age 40 on 14 Sep 1665), is presumably the third son of Edmond Yarborough of Balne, co. York and Sarah Wormley.[1]

Marriage

On 14 September 1665, Edmond married Elizabeth (or Ann) Stanhope, daughter and heir of:[2]

  • Thomas Stanhope, esq. of Stotfold (Stalfold) & Hamphull, co. York (b. c. 1616, age 50 on 09 Apr 1666 - d. 1691, age 80), 3rd son of Sir John Stanhope
  • and [--Susan--?], dau. of Rowland Corbet of Newington, esq. co. Midd.

Her father remarried to Grace, daughter of Darcy Washington of Adwick.
