Biography

Birth reg no 552/175 Frank was 77 when he died. reg no 135/5810 for death. Cross of Sacrifice Centenial Park SA. Frank went to world War 1. served in France. The bullet that wounded him, and sent him home, Killed his sisters fiancee. Service no 6853 Private Enlisted on the 4 Oct 1916, at Petersburg South Australia. Embarked on the 7 nov 1916, Frank was single, 22 yrs old, a Sheet Metal Worker. (He also worked at Coca Cola for awhile after he returned) served in the 10th Infantry battalion. the Ship he left on was the Hmat A19, Afric. Frank was a Methodist. Frank got married at 25 yrs of age to elizabeth Myrtle Mitchell.
