Alice and her twin brother Albert were born on 17 August 1912 in Whangarei. She died two days after birth and was buried at the Kamo Cemetery, Ketenikau Road, Whangarei, Block VI, Row 8, Plot 10. Alice's mother was later buried in the same plot and her father's burial plot is the neighboring one.
