Biography

When Jethro Yates was born in August 1776 in Wake, North Carolina, his father, William, was 48 and his mother, Mary, was 43. He married Nancy Harrod on October 25, 1799, in his hometown.[1][2] They had eight children in 21 years.

Jethro, Sr. died on October 27, 1851, in Dickson, Tennessee, having lived a long life of 75 years, and was buried in Dickson, Tennessee.[3][4]

Jethero was born about 1776. He passed away in 1851.
