Ellender Nellie Yates, daughter of Thomas Yates and Rebecca Ragsdale, was born 11 April 1779 in Caswell County, North Carolina, USA.
She married Richard Freeman on 10 March 1794 at Gallatin, Sumner County, Tennessee.
Ellender died about 1840 in Montgomery County, Illinois.
