Biography

Sarah "Sallie" A. Yates was born on 18 May 1857 in Doyle, White County, Tennessee. [1] She was the daughter of George Washington Yates and Elizabeth (Goddard) Yates. [2] [3] [4]

In 1880 Elizabeth was living with her parents in White, Tennessee.[5]

She married William Nelson Black on the 3rd of March,1889 in White County, Tennessee. [6][7]

She passed away on 29 March 1892 in Sparta, White County, Tennessee. She was interred in Anderson Cemetery #02, White County, Tennessee. [8] [1][9]
