A William Yeat was baptised 4 October 1629 at St Mary, Blackburn as claimed here [2], but he was the son of John Yeat not Henry.
Equally there was a William Yate baptised in Blackburn 4 July 1630, son of Robert [3].
No source has been found to validate the existence of a William Yates, son of Henry Yates of Radcliffe, Lancashire and that relationship has been disconnected. Please reconnect them if a source comes to light.
Radcliffe lies 21 miles from Blackburn (site of the marriage of William in 1651) and a local William is far more likel ythan one from that distance.
