Mary was born at sea aboard Percy in 1865. The family emigrated to New Zealand. Mary did not marry. She passed away in 1952.
The executors of Mary's estate were Edward Sellars, solicitor and Hugh William Logue. She gave her sister Martha Logue all her household belongings. Her farmlands were kept in trust for her grand nephews Linton John Yates and Brian Stanley Yates. The rest of her estate paid her debts and funeral expenses, a sum to her sister Martha and £100 pounds to William Proud of Wellsford, and the remainder was divided between her nephews and nieces.
