DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Abraham by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Abraham:

Further to my last note:

I found the baptism record for the Abraham Yates, son of Robbert, baptized in April 1724. The last name on the record is Etz, which made it harder to find. I changed the birth date this record to match the sourced information because I believe that this is the person this profile (which was created without sourcing) is supposed to represent.

I suspect an error here.

The birth date of 12 July 1714 shown on this profile is identical with the recorded baptism date of Joseph, son of Robbert Yates and Maria (a.k.a. Margarita) de Graaf. Joseph was not recorded as a twin, and since Robbert's father was named Joseph, it's reasonable to assume that Joseph was the first child.

A source I added to his father's profile refers to Abraham as the youngest son of the family, and an online genealogy cites a Kinship book as showing a son named Abraham baptized in Schenectady in 1724. (Record not yet seen. Man not to be confused with the Abraham Yates baptized in Albany later that year.)

Does this profile perhaps represent the son born in 1724?
