WEDDING REPORT. COWAN—YATES. A pretty wedding took place at the Pirie Street Methodist Church on Saturday afternoon last. The contracting parties were Miss Bobbie Yates and Mr. Jack Cowan. The bride, who was given away by her father, was gowned in embroidered georgette, with an elaborate worked satin and lace train, underlined with pink georgette. She was attended by Misses Nancy Cowan and Connie Leak as bridesmaids. Mr. Jones, at the organ rendered appropriate music throughout the service. A reception followed at the Maple Leaf Cafe, and the usual toasts were honoured. The father of the bride groom (Hon. John Cowan) availed himself of the opportunity to say au revoir to the brother of the bride, Mr. Edgar Yates, who left this week for London to complete his musical studies.
