Biography
Son of James Yates and Jemima Harper. Husband of Emily Edith Meredith married Toowoomba - 22nd February 1864. Came to Australia 1851 landing in Melbourne, Came to Queensland 1857 working as a Wool Classer. Admitted to Dunwich Asylum - 18 March 1903 and Died of Heart Failure - Aged 75 years.
