Biography

William was born in 1813. He was the son of Samuel Yeatts and Mary Davis. He passed away in 1860.

William inherited Yates Tavern, located ¼ mile south of Gretna, from his father Samuel Yates in 1840 (Pittsylvania County Deed Book 44, page 157).
