Biography

He was born about 1792 and was the son of Orpah (Pugh) and Zadok Yelverton or Yelvington.

Asa Yelverton or Yelvington married on 15 Nov 1811 in Robeson County, North Carolina, USA to Sarah "Sary" Mitchell.

By 1837 the family had moved to Mississippi, USA.

In 1841 he was "of Madison County, Mississippi" when he acquired over 80 acres of land.

He passed away on 25 Nov 1853 in Drew County, Arkansas, USA.
