Research Notes

Various records use both Maritie Aarse and Mary Hunt as the mother of Gilbert. I chose to use the earliest record I found in the Church version as his mother. Look under both names in doing researchMaltby-309 11:39, 21 August 2017 (EDT).

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Gilbert by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Gilbert:

Yeoman-44 and Yeoman-37 do not represent the same person because: The mothers appear to be two different women with different names and dates. I think they were separately married but someone has them married at the same day. There are half siblings involved, which gives me this impression. Research could not solve this as of today even after a G2G question for help.~~~~
