On the 27 September 1947 marriage to Eric Henderson. Erics residence at the time of the marriage is recorded as 8 Nesbitt Street, Shotton. Iris is recorded as at 42 Bruce Glasier Terrace, Shotton. Eric is recorded as age 21, a Bachelor with the profession as Royal Navy. Iris is recorded as age 19 and a spinster. Erics father is recorded as Gordon Henderson with the occupation as miner.
