An internet source says he was born January 23, 1716, in Douglass Township, and died March 31, 1757, in Amity. The March 31, 1757, date is actually that of his estate hearing. His widow Margaret was appointed administrator. The estate record contains no other names. The Meiser book gives his death as February 14, 1757.
The Smith book gives his birth as approximately 1721. The Meiser book says 1716.
He appears on a 1752 tax list for Amity.
Johan Yockum and his wife were sponsors for the baptism of Johann Yockum Star, son of Johannes and Elizabeth Star, at New Hanover, May 10, 1752.
