YODER ­ On the 1st of May, in Wayne Co., Ohio, Joseph Yoder, aged 84 years, 9 months and 15 days. He leaves a wife, with whom he lived 52 years, and had 7 children. He was a faithful member of the Amish Mennonite church, and was ready for the Master's call. Services were held by D. Hostetler and J. K. Yoder.

Last Will and Testament of Joseph Yoder Page 418 Book 10 Wayne County Ohio In the name of the Benevolent Father of all, I, Joseph Yoder of Milton Township Wayne County Ohio Being of sound mind and memory. Being mindful of my mortality Do make and constitute this my last Will and Testament as follows: First and Principally I Recommend my immortal Spirit to God who gave it. In hope of a Joy full Resurrection and my Body to the Earth to Be Burried decently at the direction of my herein named Executor. Second it is my will after my decease that my beloved wife Mariah is to have all my Farmland and tenements together with all my Personal Property and off sets whatever. Do long as she shall Remain my widow and in the event of her marriage she is only to have what the Law Provides for her Third after the deceased of Marriage of my Beloved Wife Mariah I Bequeath to my children equal shares of all the Property or Proceeds that may have been on hand: including what they have already Received Forth- The following sums of money my children have Received at my hand it is my will and Prayer that said sums of money be Deducted and Equalized so that all may receive Equal shares- Emanuel Yoder $1275.64 Anna King 1262.09 Barbara Eshleman 1261.72 Mariah Yoder 1259.84 Henry Yoder 1282.03 Catherine Staley 1158.10 Frani Staley 1236.30 Susanna M Yoder 2022.10

Fifth- It is my will and desire that Frank Staley and Ida Staley Receive their mothers share in Equal shares. Sixth- It is my will and Prayer that Mariah Yoder receive of Anna King’s share Seven Hundred and forty eight Dollars($748.00) out of her share of the Estate of her father Joseph Yoder. Seventh and lastly I do appoint and Constitute my friend AK Schaaf of Wayne County to be my Executor with full power to sell and convey and make deeds if necessary for all my Real Estate as well as personal property.
