Jacob, son of Curtis Allen Yohe and Mary Ellen Lochman, was born 16 August 1918 in Jackson Township, York County, Pennsylvania.[1]

Jacob died 13 September 1991 and was buried at Saint Paul Zeigler's Lutheran Cemetery in North Codorus Township, York County.[6]

Extract from obituary to be edited: Jacob A. Yohe, 73, of Seven Valleys RD 1, died at 7:20 p.m. Friday at the home of his daughter. . . . He retired in 1980 as a shipping clerk from P.H. Glatfelter Co., Spring Grove, after more than 40 years of service. Mr. Yohe was a member of St. Paul's (Zeigler's) Lutheran Church, Seven Valleys RD 1; P.H. Glatfelter's Quarter Century Club, Pvt. Allen J. Beck Jr. Veterans of Foreign Wars, Spring Grove Post No. 5265; The American Legion, Harrisburg Post No. 945; the DAV Commanders Club; American Association of Retired Persons, and was a life member of Jefferson Volunteer Fire Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, where he served as a staff sergeant with Company L, 393rd Infantry and received three Bronze Stars in the European theater. He was born in Jackson Township, son of the late Curtis S. and Mary Ellen (Laughman) Yohe. Mr. Yohe was the husband of the late Ruth I. (Thoman) Yohe, who died March 3, 1990. . . . Burial is to be in the church cemetery with military honors performed by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
