Birth

According to the 1900 Census, Guy L. York was born in September 1891 and was the son of Elmer York.^[1]His World War I draft registration card gives his birth date as 23 Sep 1891 and says her was born at Weld, Maine.^[2] In 1891, Elmer H. York was still married to his first wife, Ellen S. Beedy, who died in 1893, ^[3] so she must have been the mother of Guy.

Military Service

Guy L. York served in the Army during World War I, from 1 Apr 1918 until 1 Aug 1919.^[4]

Marriage

In 1920, Guy L. York was living with his father and stepmother at Canton, Maine, at the age of 28, and he was unmarried.^[5] Guy L. York of Canton, Maine, married Louise Jacobs of Vassalboro, Maine, on 12 Sep 1926.^[6]

Death

Guy Leslie York died on 24 Oct 1866.^[4]
