DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Samuel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Samuel:
The parents of Samuel are incorrect. He was born in West Haddon, Northamptonshire to parents, John and Mary York. He has at least 3 siblings Elizabeth, John and William. There are no sources for his birth in Bedfordshire and the link to them seems unlikely. I will be adding sources over the next few days and if there are no objections, detaching Samuel from William.
