Hi!

Just checking in with a few quick tips

Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

Hi!

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with one profile per person. The farther back you go, it's likely you will find duplicate profiles to link into, so it's a good idea to do a search before you create a new profile.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? If so, they are already here! Please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their already existing profiles.

WikiTree strives to be a fun, collaborative, productive site. It's also different than what many people are used to. Please take advantage of the Help Menu in the upper right hand corner, our G2G Forum and of course, our Mentors :)

Do you have any questions I can help with?

Eowyn ~ Mentor/Team Member

Welcome to our community, Todd. We LOVE ancestral pictures. :) You can upload as many as you want. It's admirable of you to record everything, especially given your mother's age.

Our Honor Code, G2G message forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only one profile per person.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree!

I have somehow managed to get all my thousand of photos and records from my mother's side of the family and am starting to record everything I can since she will be 80 soon and I would like to record everything I can about my past relatives. I've got time as long as I'm healthy which is on and off. Have info on Troesters, Schroeders, Marmie, Arnholz and others.
