Biography

Sarah was born in 1755 in North Carolina. She died there in 1816. She married Peter Kivett Jr.. Together they had 12 children. Children listed at Find a Grave include:

Research Notes

There is much confusion about Sarah York. This Sarah, daughter of Henry, married Peter Kivett. Sarah York Welborn, daughter of Semore, married John Welborn. Their data has been conflated everywhere. Both FAG memorials list their DOB as 3 Dec 1755. Most trees list 2 May 1816 as the DOD for both, but Sarah Welborn's memorial lists 1820 for her.
