John L. York, born 22 Jul 1845 at North Stonington, Connecticut, was a son of Esther Babcock & Daniel York. He married twice. His first wife, Mary E. died at the age of 17 in 1874. He married Julia Emma Edgecomb on13 Sep 1882. She was the daughter of Nathan S and Prudence E Edgecomb of North Stonington,Connecticut. [1] They lived in North Stonington, New London, Connecticut.[2] John died before 1930.
