Mary York is the daughter of Peter York and Abiah (Russell) York, of Bethel, Oxford County, Maine.
Mary married Asa Bartlett, son of Reuben Bartlett. Mary and Asa and lived in Bethel Maine, where their children were born:
Mary Ann Bartlett was born October 21, 1820, married Elijah B. Goddard;
Freeland Bartlett, born October 11, 1824, married Betsey Morse of Grafton;
Dolly Bartlett, born August 15, 1828, married Gilman Smith of Newry;
Mary died in 1836, and Asa remarried Elizabeth E Rowe in 1837. Asa by his second wife was the father of Asa Warrington Bartlett, born February 4, 1839.
