James Buchanan York was born on January 24, 1857[1], in Wayne, West Virginia, the child of Joseph York and Elizabeth Ratcliff[2]. He married Tennessee Branham on April 22, 1883[3], in Wayne, West Virginia. He died on March 10, 1905, in his hometown at the age of 48, and was buried in USA.
