Biography
William York, b. 1 Jan 1777 @ Stonington, Connecticut, was the sixth child of Ann (Breed; 1742-1818) & Jesse York Sr. (1740-1808) [1].
He married 7 Feb 1802 @ Preston, Connecticut, Naomi (Ray; 1780-1865). They had 8 children during the time frame through June 1824, all at Stonington or North Stonington, Connecticut:

- Jesse York (1809-1876); married Mary Hurlburt
- Stephen York (1811-)
- Maryetta (York; 1814-1891); married John L. Green
