Reuben York, b. 2 Oct 1780 @ Stonington, Connecticut, was the seventh and final child of Ann (Breed) & Jesse York .

He married 01 Jan 1804, Preston, Connecticut, Hannah (Breed), daughter of Jabish Breed, thus they were second cousins. They had 4 children during the timeframe through June 1813, all at North Stonington where they resided:

1. Thomas Jefferson York (1806-1834); married Martha Wheeler
2. Lois York (1807-1878); married John P. Kinney (1804 - 1885)
3. Jabish Breed York (1811-1871)
4. Mary Esther York (1813-1870)
