Biography

Ella Yost was born on 8 Jun 1903^[1] in Lynn Township (immediately south of Harvard), Clay County, Nebraska^[2][3]. She was the daughter of Henry G Yost and Christina Yost^[2][3][4] (see research notes).
Ella married William Hohnstein on 13 Oct 1927 in Western, Saline County, Nebraska, United States^[5]. The couple had one child: Dale William Hohnstein, born 24 Jul 1928 in Hastings, Nebraska^[6][7].
Ella passed away on 10 Oct 1985^[1][2][8] in Harvard, Nebraska^[2] and is buried in the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, Clay County, Nebraska^[2][8].

Research Notes

• There is an "Ella A. Yost" that was living in Lynn NE and born about the same time but with Father "Ludwig H Yost", mother "Emma Yost" and siblings "Hellen", "Edna", "Pearl" and "Doris". She shows in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 censuses as living with father Ludwig. I do not believe that she is would be the correct wife for William because she was still living with father Ludwig 1930 which is 2 years after Ella married William. Furthermore, father = Henry is what the obituary shows and what FindaGrave shows - unsourced.
