Thomas Young married Dorcas Burnett before 1825. Later on--I assume after Dorcas died--he married Sarah Lamb.
Family Search has a profile for a Thomas Young that was married to a Dorcas Burnett and later married Sarah Lamb.[1] It also indicates he was born in Wales in about 1800 but passed away after 1860 in Kentucky. (It is believed that the family lived in Virginia until about 1847 and then moved to Kentucky.)
It should be noted that two census reports have been found that are believed to belong to Thomas and both indicate that he was born in Virginia between 1800-1802. The 1850 Census (if it is correctly attached to him) has him in Graves, Kentucky [2] with "Nancy Burnett" and others in the residence. The 1860 Census shows him with Sarah/Sallie in the same area of Graves, Kentucky.[3] Someone with more intimate knowledge of the family would need to verify if these sources belong to him. :)
