•Note: James Wesley Young, born 26, Mar 1862 in Marion Co., AR., son of James M. and Frances Ruby Coker Young. He married Rhoda Lavina Jones, 19 May 1881, at the Rally Hill School in Boone Co., with his uncle, the Rev. Thomas B. Davis officiating the ceremony. Wesley and Rhoda had ten children: Riley, Vinnie, Fannie, Joseph, Arthur, Hettie, Addie, Clara, Bettie and Oda. They made their home in the Olvey area, and attended the Presbyteriian Church. On 9, Feb 1902 after a struggle of pneumonia and measles, Rhoda passed away, she was buried in the family Jones/Hogcreek Cemetery. After the loss of his wife, Wesley disappeared, his wagon and team was found at the railroad station. Rhoda's mother, Polly Jones helped take care of the children with the help of the older children. After 18 months of being gone, Wesley returned with a new wife Mrs. Cynthia Wells Everly, of Green Forest, she brought a four year old daughter with her named Pearl; she left three older children behind Cynthia and Wesley had two children: Mike and Bertha Young. On the 16th of November, 1922, at the age of sixty years, Wesley was cutting firewood and a tree fell on him killing him instantly.
