On Friday evening the wife of Mr. Twist Stearne, who arrived in South Australia in 1838, died at her residence, Hindmarsh, after a long and painful illness at the age of 51 years. The deceased was an old resident at Hindmarsh, and was highly respected. She leaves a husband and five daughters. [3]
