Solomon Young was born 24 Apr 1815, in Shelby County Kentucky. His parent were Jacob Young and Rachel Goodnight. Solomon married Harriet Louisa Gregg 09 Jan 1838, in Shelby County, Kentucky. Solomon Young passed away 26 Jan 1892, in Grandview, Jackson County, Missouri.[1][2][3][4]
- He was a successful farmer. He also owned and operated wagon trains which left from Westport and Independence traveling westward.
