Elizabeth passed away on 19 September1878 in Lincoln County, Missouri. It is not clear why she died, as there is no mention of her death in the newspaper. The only source we have for her all too short life is her headstone. She was laid to rest at Thornhill Cemetery, Troy, Lincoln County, Missouri[2].
