Biography
- Emma arrived in Australia in 1884 on the Abergeldie.She was 2 years old accompanied by her father Charles aged 30 ,a pianoforte finisher, and her mother Helen(AKA Ellen) aged 31, and sisters Edith aged 4 and Maud an infant.

The bride was attired in the full Army uniform of navy blue. The wedding breakfast I was held at the army quarters, the happy couple leaving during the afternoon for their future home at Toogong.
