Beatrice Daily Sun (Beatrice, Nebraska) 4 April 1909 p. 1, col. 3: Mrs. Silas Bryson Dead. Adams, Neb., April 3. - (Special) - Mrs. Silas Bryson, a pioneer resident of Adams, died yesterday afternoon. Deceased recently removed to town, and two weeks ago was operated upon at Lincoln for gall stones. She was also a sufferer of live trouble. Mrs. Bryson had been married fifty-four years, and is survived by a large family of grown children most of whom reside in Adams and vicinity.
