"Alfred and Cephaline resided in the Faquetaique Prarie where, according to an estimative inventory taken after Alfred's death in about 1885, they owned two tracts of land. The first tract is described as 100 arpents of prairie land which was bounded north by Valcourt Aguillard, south by railroad lands, east by Jules Fruge and west by Eloi Savoie. The second tract is described as sixty superficial arpents, more or less, situated in Bayou Dozas woods, located in Sections 49 and 59, T-6-S; R-1-E, bounded on the North by lands of Dorsin L. A. Fontenot, South by lands of Bazile Rougeau, East by blank and on the West by lands of Theophile P.
