Rebecca(4) Brainerd (James3, James2,Daniel1) was married 1741-1742 to Samuel Young, supposed son of Joseph and Sarah (Davis) Young. Samuel was born Sept. 23, 1680 in Eastham, Massachusetts. He died Oct. 1752. Rebecca then married Moses Wheeler May 23, 1754.
Samuel and Rebecca Young had 5 children:
1.Samuel, baptized July 7, 1745 in Chatha m, Ct. He married Dec. 7, 1767 Melatiah Fuller and was a Rev. War soldier. Was baptized July 7th 1745.
2. James bapt. Nov. 3, 1745 Chatham
3. Eliz abeth, bapt. Sept. 13, 1747 Chatham
4. Asaph, bapt. July 30 , 1749 Chatham
5. Rebecca, bapt. March 5, 1752 Chatha m and died May 12, 1768.
