Biography
Birth
Silence Anne Young was born on 8th January 1827 in Westwood, within the parish of Bix, Oxfordshire. She was baptised at St James, Bix, Oxfordshire on 6th May 1827.[1] She was the daughter of William Young and Elizabeth (Goodchild) Young. Her father stated on the register that he was a farmer and that the family were living in Westwood. Both her birth and baptism dates were recorded on the register.
