We haven’t heard back from you concerning the Scottish Clans Transition. If you are still interested and we haven’t received a response from you by 27 March 2020, you will be welcome to rejoin by answering the current g2g thread for joining the Scotland Project.
My name is Amy and I am a co-Leader of the Scotland Project. As you may have heard, we have merged the Scottish Clans project into the Scotland Project. I am contacting you today to find out if you are interested in continuing with us under this new format. If you would like to go forward on the Scottish Clans Team, please reply and let me know which clans you have been working on or would like to work on. I look forward to hearing from you.
I am a WikiTree DNA Project Volunteer Helper. I wanted to let you know that when you post DNA test information on a WikiTree profile, WikiTree needs to be able to see the profile Family Tree Tab (top of WikiTree Profile) to make DNA connections down the ancestral lines.
I would like to suggest that you change the privacy level on this profile and all of the ancestors to be at a level that allows everyone to see the Family Tree tab. Click the "Privacy" tab and set your level to "Private with public tree" or "Private with public biography and tree".
For further information on the available Privacy levels needed to facilitate this, please see: Wikitree privacy controls
I happen to be of several Scot clans, Young, Kirkland and Odom are my main lines. I have my Young Scotch line back only to 1670 in Ireland and I know before that time they were in Scotland. How can I help?
Scottish Clan Project. Hi Troy, I'm trying to improve communications by ensuring members of the Scottish Clans Project have full access to its Google Group. The google group is an open group so you can sign yourself in at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/wikitree-scottish-clan-project Any problems with this let me know and I can add you direct. If you do not want to be a member of the google group can you let me know. Thanks Maria

My goodness it's nice to be getting all of these welcome to the site and congratulations for being here a month messages. But it's kind of odd too. I uploaded my GEDCOM here on June 3rd, 2011. That's 2 1/2 years ago ya'll. ;-)
Hi! I see where you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.
Congratulations, you've been a member for a month!

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
Irene (WikiTree Mentor)
