Francis married Anne Charlton. The year of marriage is not known, but with at least 14 children, and with Anne dying in 1507, it may have been before 1490. As both families were Shropshire ones, the marriage was almost certainly in that county. They had at least ten sons and four daughters (the daughters are not listed by Douglas Richardson[1][2]):
Anne, who married twice, her husbands having the last names Bromley and Bulkeley[3]
Elizabeth, who married someone with the last name Brand[3]
Margaret, who married someone with the last name Bulkley[3]
The Shropshire Visitation lists two sons called Adam.[3]
Death and Memorial
Francis's wife died in 1507. He outlived her, dying in 1533. A memorial brass of them was placed in the parish church of Edgmond, Shropshire.[1][2] Fourteen children were depicted on the memorial. The inscription, which gives his death date as the last day of March 1533, reads:[4]

This profile is in trail from Gateway Ancestor Amy Wyllys to surety baron Henry de Bohun that was identified by the Magna Carta Project. I will soon be adding the Magna Carta Project as a co-manager of the profile and will be adding a project box and project section to the bio. Thanks!
