Biography

Thomas Young was born 1745 in Salem Mass, , a son of Elkanah Young[1] [2]

In 1761, he emigrated to Falmouth, Nova Scotia[1]

On January 30, 1771, he married Priscilla Alline, sister of Henry, daughter of William and Rebecca, who settled in Falmouth in 17601[3] [1] [2], and their children included:

  1. Rebecca[1], born 1771, who married Samuel Porter and lived to age 110[2]
  2. William Mayhew[1], born 1776, who married Elizabeth Wilson [4]
  3. Clark[1], born July 5, 1779, who married Sarah Wallgate Johnson, daugther of George Johnson and Mary Cleveland[2]
  4. Alline[1], born November 22, 1781, who married Anne Fox[2]
  5. Henry[1]

Thomas Young died March 18, 1834 in Falmouth, Hants, Nova Scotia in Falmouth[2]
