Biography

His mother, with 8 children, left Ireland shortly after her husband had been killed by a Scotsman. Her intention was to immigrate from Ireland to NJ in 1725 but she never made it. She died on shipboard and was buried at sea around Lizard Island, near Liverpool. The rest of the family that came to NJ were all interred in the Friends' burying-ground in Randolph, NJ.
