David Young was born on 17 Nov 1786 in Somerset, Pennsylvania to Capt. William Young and Mary Elder. He married Jane McGuffey on 13 May 1825 in Trumbull, Ohio. Children: Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Hannah, Amanda, Sarah. He died on 4 Apr 1869 in New Castle, Lawrence, Pennsylvania.
