Residence

The James family lived at a house called 'Ridgeway', overlooking Duck arm, lake Victoria, Gippsland Lakes in Victoria, Australia.^[15] Currently there is a road called 'Ridgeway Lane' that leads from Birrells Rd on the Banksia Peninsula to Picnic Bay, a tributary of Duck Bay, which, in turn, opens onto Lake Victoria.

Death

Catherine James Died 4 Oct 1910 at the age of 58 ^[16][17] and was interred at Paynesville Cemetery, Victoria, Australia, location 37°54.411 South, 147°42.267 East.^{[18][19][20][21]}
