  • entered 25 acres of land in the Co., of Warren and State of Tennessee, on the waters of Dry Creek of the East Fork of Stones River joining 25 acre tract of land in the name of Henry Young.

  • 1829 -Jan 30
entered fifty acres in Warren Co., State of Tennessee on the East Forks of Stones River it being the South West corner of a tract of land in the name of Thomas St. John.

Alexander Young's will is recorded in Cannon Co.,, Tennessee in Will Book 1 on Page 160

The undated will names his children as: E. J., John A. Eliza N., Enoch L., Rebecca A. Young, Senith N. Young, Martha A. Young, Clementine Young, Nancy F. Young, Sarah D. Young, Tennessee Young. He willed his beloved wife (unnamed) the lands and appertanences situated there and known and described as the North farms laying in Cannon Co., and District # 5.

Just why some of his children are left out of his will is unknown. Not mentioned in his will are his sons William H. Young and Pleasant A. Young and his daughters Roxanah and Elizabeth.
