Biography

Thomas Jefferson Youngblood is the son of James Youngblood and Elizabeth (Lee) Youngblood. He served in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. [1][2] His biography is included in "Notable Men of Alabama" and his photograph is included on the first page of his bio. (See image)[3]

On December 23, 1863, Thomas married Josephine Arthur Jenerett, daughter of Elias Jenerett and Eliza (Thomas) Jenerett.

Children of Thomas and Josephine are:

  • Laura Youngblood, married Robert M. Davis
  • David F. Youngblood, married Cannie Stroud and lived in San Antonio, Texas
  • John Bunyan Youngblood, a Baptist minister, who died March 20, 1896
  • James A. Youngblood, Vice President of the Southern Structural Steel Company of San Antonio, Texas
  • George L. Youngblood, Secretary and Treasurer of the Southern Structural Steel Company of San Antonio, Texas
