Thomas Jefferson Youngblood is the son of James Youngblood and Elizabeth (Lee) Youngblood. He served in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War.

On December 23, 1863, Thomas married Josephine Arthur Jenerett, daughter of Elias Jenerett and Eliza (Thomas) Jenerett.
