Amy Youngblood was the daughter of Jacob Youngblood and Sarah Still Youngblood. She was born in about 1800 in Edgefield District, South Carolina. [1][2]
In the 1850 U. S. Census (21 December 1850) [2] the family was in Macon County, Alabama. John was a farmer with real estate valued at $1000. Ann was listed as "Anny" age fifty. The birth location for both was South Carolina. There were five children in the family: Catherine age 24, Henry age 18, Martha age 17, Washington age 15 and Winney age 14. The next family was James Dozier age 30 who was likely also a son.
She died in August 1876 in Jenkins Crossroads, Bullock County, Alabama and is buried in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, in Bullock County, Alabama. [1]
