Biography

William was born in 1778, the son of William and Abigail (Parsons) Younger, in Gloucester, Massachusetts, where he was raised.

In 1802 William married Anna "Nancy" Millett, the daughter of Morris Millett, in Gloucester. They would have the following children:

Willard Younger (1802– )

Joshua Younger (1806–1855)

Mary Younger (1806– )

Nancy Baker (Younger) Scribner (1807–1889)

William was a fisherman in Gloucester and died at sea. He is listed on the memorial in Gloucester called "Man at the Wheel", as one of the fisherman dying at sea -"William Younger died 1813".

Younger-1782 and Younger-1592 appear to represent the same person because: Although the first name on 1592 is the middle name on 1782, these are of the same person based upon Father.
